Soon after receiving its first 33m narrow Holland Lift HL-330E14, Gunco’s Special Equipment division has taken ownership of a second unit.

It brings the special equipment division’s fleet to 120 units, making it one of the largest fleet of niche access equipment available in Europe, says the company.

The Netherlands-based Gunco Bv, a branch of TVH Group, is a major user of Holland Lift, owning almost all types of the manufacturer’s range. The relationship between Gunco engineers and Holland Lift service staff goes way back, said the company, which helps the development of safe and reliable machines.

The HL-330 is the world’s highest narrow scissor spaces, with a width of 1.4m. It has a 33m working height and 600kg lifting capacity, with demand coming from large warehouses being built all over Europe due to the exponential growth in online shopping and the need to have logistic facilities close to the market.

Erwin Geurts, Special Equipment operations manager, said, “This model fits very well into our fleet, as the unit presents special features such as the easy lube lubrication system, a narrow base of 1.4m for a working height of 33m, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. We are pleased to offer this new unit and the related services to our customer’s portfolio and contribute to their strategic growth.”
