H&E Equipment Services has opened a new branch in North Carolina, the eighth rental location the company has opened in the state.

Based in Statesville, the new branch will specialise in the rental of a range of equipment, including aerial lifts, earthmoving equipment, telescopic forklifts, compaction equipment and generators.

Equipment from the likes of JCB, Wacker Neuson, Skyjack, Bomag, Yanmar, Doosan and Kobelco will be available at the branch, which will also have an on-site repair shop.

Branch Manager Alex Villa said, “Our new Statesville branch extends our coverage, reaching north to the state line and west to Hickory, Morganton, Lenoir and Boone. Located within 50 miles of two of our existing facilities in the Charlotte area and another in Winston-Salem, the Statesville location gives H&E greater ability to source available fleet and supply projects throughout all of central North Carolina.

“We’re located just off I-77 and Hwy. 21, so we can quickly move the new equipment that is arriving to any jobsite within the region and respond to the explosive growth in the Charlotte metro area.”

Earlier this week, the company also confirmed that it had expanded its footprint on the Gulf Coast with the opening of a branch in Alabama. In the last month the company has opened five branches across the US.
