HAE EHA funds free leadership training

Hire Association Europe Event Hire Association (HAE EHA) is offering a funding package for women already employed in the equipment rental industry to attend a Leadership Management Residential Programme.

Five individuals will be awarded the funding, which will secure each of them a free place on one of two Leadership Management Residential Programme courses, which usually costs around £4,200 per person, including accommodation and meals.

Aiming to help those women in rental looking to develop their career and progress into a senior management role, “the course exposes participants to ever-increasing complex and challenging situations that leaders will face in the workplace,” said HAE EHA.

“The Leadership Management programme is demanding, focusing on developing self-awareness, self-control and self-confidence. The process aims to identify the leadership behaviour, strengths and development needs of individuals.”

The five-day courses, for which only one candidate per rental business will be allowed to attend each course intake, will be run at The Royal Lodge in Symonds Yat East, South Herefordshire.

While the deadline for the first course has already passed, the funding is still available for the leadership course from 25 - 30 April, 2022.

As well as team-building exercises that test communication skills, the courses also include a one-to-one coaching session following completion.

Athough the five free places on the course are intended to attract women considering management roles in the hire industry, HAE EHA said the programme is open to anyone who is a well-established manager looking to progress their career.

Those wishing to book a place or register their interest can do so via the Hire Association Europe website: hae.org.uk
