Haulotte extends BIM library

30 June 2020

Haulotte has completed its scissor lift BIM library with 12 new models, with vertical masts and booms lifts set to follow soon.

Since its launch earlier this year, architects, engineers and construction companies have been using the Haulotte Building Information Models (BIM) to plan, design and manage construction projects more efficiently, said the manufacturer.

The new additions means the entire scissor lift product line from Haulotte is now available for download in REVIT and IFC format. They include the electric Optimum models, the electric Compact series, the diesel Compact series and the standard deisal H series.

Clément Viaouet, product manager at Haulotte, said, “The new BIM objects meet the quality standards of the previous ones. Particular attention was paid to their design and small data size. Thanks to hard work on parameters and working envelope, Haulotte BIM objects act on a virtual environment as the real equipment would on the jobsite.”

The Haulotte team continues to work on developing other Building Information Models. The next wave is planned in the coming weeks to include vertical masts, articulating and telescopic booms.
