Haulotte Group reported third quarter revenues of €76.7 million, similar to the same quarter in 2011, but with slowing sales in Europe offsetting growth elsewhere.

The company has seen a 16% increase in revenues for the year to the end of September, up to €261.2 million, with dramatic year-on-year increases in Latin America (up 90%), Asia Pacific (up 26%) and North America (up 30%).

In contrast, sales in Europe for the nine months rose by just 4% and, said Haulotte, “faced a real slowdown at the end of September 2012.”

Haulotte said that the overall growth rate for 2012 was unlikely to change significantly from the first nine months of the year “given the expected dynamism of our business outside Europe and planned investments by our major customers in Europe during the period".

The manufacturer’s rental businesses, which are in countries including the UK and Argentina, saw a revenue increase of 9% to €34.3 million for the first nine months of the year. After sales service revenues were up 4% at €24.1 million.
