German rental company Hydraulik Bühnen Verleih (HBV) has added new Snorkel aerial work platforms to its fleet, including S1930E electric scissor lifts, Snorkel’s trailer mounted boom lift TL37J, and the first S3970RT compact rough terrain scissor lift in Germany.

Located in the Northwest region of Germany, HBV is a machinery rental and sales company that focuses on new and used equipment including trailer platforms, boom lifts, truck lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts. It services both commercial and private customers in Germany.

HBV purchased 2 Snorkel T66JRT’s telescopic boom lifts in 2009 and decided to expand its fleet by purchasing the additional Snorkel scissors and trailer boom lifts. The electric scissors were rented immediately after delivery to a jobsite near Spelle.

Mr Sommer, CEO at HBV, took delivery of the lifts with Roman Heindl, sales manager for German-speaking countries for Snorkel. The S3970RT and TL37J were transported using a Multi Truck, which is a self-designed product from HBV that can transport up to 11 tonnes on its platform.

Mr Heindl added, “HBV is a well-known and well-regarded rental company in Germany and across Europe. Equipment quality and reliability are key to their reputation and we are thrilled that Mr Sommer has chosen to invest in Snorkel lifts.”
