Herc acquires in New York

Equipment rental company Herc Rentals has acquired New York-based MAC Equipment. No financial details have been disclosed.

Founded in 2001, MAC Equipment specialises in the rental of aerial lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts and telehandlers.

The company also offers a range of safety equipment, generators and welding equipment.

The company’s fleet comprises of more than 70 models from the likes of Genie, Snorkel, UpRight, JLG, LGMG, Skyjack, MEC, Toyota, Doosan and Xtreme.

Having started out in a small shop in Troy, New York, the company now covers the entirety of New York, Massachusetts and Vermont, as well as parts of Connecticut and New Jersey.
