Hertz opens fifth energy rentals branch in France

Hertz Equipment Rental Corp (HERC) has established a new Hertz Energy Services location in Bordeaux, France, providing “large scale” power services to industrial, construction, commercial, film production, shipping, special events and utilities sectors.
The branch is the fifth Hertz Energy Services location in France and serves customers in Bordeaux and the south west of France. Energy Services has operated in France since 1998, ten years after HERC launched in the country.
The business rents generators from 2 – 2000 KVA, electrical distribution, auxiliary fuel tanks and load banks.
Lois Boyd, HERC group president, said: “With its continued commitment to industrial growth, France is an important market for Hertz Equipment Rental and its Hertz Energy Services business. Bordeaux and the surrounding region is undergoing exciting developments in industry, construction, events and shipping.
“We are experiencing strong demand from these sectors for our large-scale power solutions, which feature state-of-the art power generation and associated equipment supported by our specialist industry consultancy and maintenance services.”
