Rental specialist, Hewden has launched a new customer training division, Hewden Training. The division will offer a broad range of courses, covering topics including working at height, powered access, general health and safety, crane and plant operation and the safe use of hand held equipment.

Hewden is an accredited IPAF, PASMA, NPORS and CPCS training provider, so customers know that their staff will be trained to recognised standards and will receive an internationally acknowledged qualification.

Hewden Training will also offer a number of professional development courses that can benefit those from the shop floor to the boardroom. Courses are available at Hewden's regional locations, or they can be custom delivered to sites anywhere in the UK.

Stuart Langham, director of tool hire and customer training for Hewden said, "Regardless of the market sector or application, industrial and legislative demands are ever changing and, health and safety guidance is constantly updated.

"That's why we've invested in our training offering. Our courses are designed to help workplaces become healthier and safer, improve performance and raise standards."

Hewden is continuing to add new courses to its training portfolio and will also work with customers to develop bespoke courses, which match the needs of their working environment.
