A middle day of almost perpetual rain failed to prevent visitors helping to post a 7% increase on numbers attending the Hillhead exhibition compared to the previous event two years ago.

Despite the wet Wednesday, a total than 18,500 unique visitors attended this year’s event, which took place across three days in the final week of June.

The show, which took place in Buxton in the north of England, also attracted a record 470 exhibitors.

Dates for Hillhead 2018 will be announced in due course.
