Spanish power generator manufacturer, Himoinsa, has appointed Steve Sutton as UK sales manager ahead of launching its product range in the UK.

Mr Sutton - who has worked in sales with Finning, Ingersoll Rand and most recently Pramac UK - will be responsible for bringing the Himoinsa product range to the UK and to maximising its use in the rental market.

The manufacturer has already promoted its products through UK dealers and has a large number of generators in use throughout the country. Now, it plans to establish a permanent UK base, supplying its complete range of equipment throughout the UK and Ireland.

“We have already set aside a fleet of machines ready for swift delivery directly from the factory into the UK,” explained Mr. Sutton. “With an established transport network in place, we can provide rapid delivery of machines and spare parts from Spain to most parts of this country”.

The Himoinsa produce a line of rental sets range from 20 to 750kVA, as well as a heavy range that goes beyond 2500 kVA. The company operates factories in Spain, France, China and the US.
