Sandvik BR4511 breaker clears British Sugar factory.

A 3.8 tonne Sandvik BR4511 hydraulic breaker fitted to a 40 tonne Volvo EC360 excavator is being used by GBM Demolition in a 32-week contract to clear the 360000 m2 site of the former British Sugar factory in York, UK.

GBM director, Simon Grantham said, "The one attachment that stands out from the crowd on this site is the Sandvik BR4511 breaker. We have other hammers on site but after rebuilding one of them twice recently, it reinforced the importance of investing in the best products available. The BR4511 is in a class of its own," he said.

Over and above the technical attributes of the BR4511, Mr Grantham believes the real selling point as far as GBM is concerned has been the service back up provided by both Lincolnshire dealer AMS and Sandvik. "If a problem cannot be resolved over the phone, then the service team is here almost instantly. That's what I call quality," he said.
