German construction equipment rental company HKL Baumaschinen has increased its presence in the north-west of the country after taking over three sites from A-Z Baugerate.

HKL, which operates in three countries with an annual turnover of €280 million, will now offer a rental, sales and service from the premises in Dusseldorf, Grevenbroich and Krefeld.

Branch manager Reinhard Roth said: “The customer is our top priority. From these new centres, together with A-Z’s Baugerate’s professional team, we can offer modern equipment, the latest technology and expert advice as a matter of course.”

HKL already has a network of 140 branches and 1200 employees in Germany, Austria and Poland. It says its particular focus is in renting compact equipment.
