Franco Picchiottini, owner of equipment supplier OFS, says the number of hook blocks that the company supplies has increased in the last two years, despite there being relatively few mobile crane manufacturers in Italy. “The reason is our clients are exporting a lot of cranes, the export market is very good,” Picchiottini explains.

OFS, based in Birone di Giussano, supplies end of line equipment such as hook blocks up to 500 tonnes capacity, to mobile crane manufacturers, including Marchetti and Terex.
