Delta Maritime successfully transported hot and cold separators from Greece to Albania amid blocked roads and protests

Thessaloniki, Greece-based specialized transport company Delta Maritime delivered two hot and cold separators from the Port of Piraeus in Greece to the client’s site in Fier, Albania.

The dimensions of each separator were 15.24 x 3.98 x 4.16 metres (LxWxH) and had a single weight of 34.9 tonnes.

The shipment arrived on board a break bulk vessel in Piraeus Port, during the time of ongoing protests by Greek farmers blocking many roads. Delta Maritime prepared the cargo for transit and arranged for an indirect delivery through the port’s storage area after the Greek roads were accessible again.

The separators arrived at the site in Albania where two cranes waited to lift the cargo from the trucks and placed them on their foundations.
