Hyva factory in Brazil

30 May 2012

Italian articulated loader crane manufacturer Hyva said it will open a manufacturing plant in Brazil in 2012.

The factory will produce the new V-Series offering capacities between 7 and 29 tonne metres. It has been designed for the Brazilian market where there is demand for lower cost machines.

The main strength of the V-Series will be its ability to carry high loads at a short radius, with a centre of gravity closer to the central column of the crane than in previous designs, the manufacturer said.

Hyva estimated the articulated loader crane market at 6,000 machines a year, so it sees plenty of opportunity to introduce its complete range into Brazil in the future.
