Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH's service plant at Alt-Bork near Berlin, Germany, opened in 1995. Since then, the centre has provided all repair services and replacement parts for Liebherr mobile cranes, especially for customers from Northern and Eastern Germany.

In addition to providing direct customer service, the Alt-Bork plant also overhauls used cranes and prepares them for resale. The first used crane was delivered in November 1996 and in April 2006, the 1,000th used crane, a Liebherr LTM 1150/1, was handed over to Russian rental house Radiostroy. This was the second fully overhauled used crane that customer bought from the Alt-Bork facility.
