ALE executed a heavy lift for the Mega Methanol Project in Labuan, Malaysia. The UK-based company used its Gottwald MK1500 for the main lift to install a 72 m tall, 7.7 m wide, atmospheric column, weighing 495 tonnes. Total lift weight was 525 tonnes. A Demag CC 2400 was also used as a tail crane.

The MK1500 was rigged with 65 m of main boom and 23 m fixed fly jib at 10 degrees offset with 47 m back mast at 24 m radius. The installation radius was 30 m with a superlift counterweight of 500 tonnes.
