Singapore: Rem Koolhaus's Office of Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) has unveiled designs for a 153 m tall tower for developer The Far East Organisation in Singapore. The Scotts Tower, located close to the city-state's Orchard Road shopping area will comprise 20000 m2 of floor space, and house 68 ‘high-end’ apartments. The building's four individual apartment towers will be vertically offset from one another and suspended from a central core. This will reduce the building's footprint to free-up the surrounding area for leisure facilities and landscaping.
