The 8 m3 version of Stetter's Light Line series weighs just under 900 kg less than a conventional truck mixer, according to the company. When mounted on a suitable lightweight 4-axle chassis (about 9 tonnes) and carrying 200 litres of fuel, 200 litres of water and one driver (about 80 kg), the total weight is about 12.7 tonnes, which leaves 19.3 tonnes for the payload before the 32 tonne limit has been reached for a 4-axle class truck.
