IC's big eye on the web

This month we look at the web site of the 60 year-old family owned Beamish Heavy Hauliers company in Australia, a specialist in hauling oversize loads.

A major feature of the site is a library of 1300 photos showing loads hauled by Beamish. These are grouped by type and include a very wide range from palm trees through refinery vessels to cranes (and some unusual looking ones too).

Another section gives helpful tips about what is required when enquiring about or supplying a load to be transported. Also interesting is a section of animations and video clips showing demonstrations of the trailer types and how different types of machinery are loaded. Dimensional drawings of the trailers in the fleet are another useful area of the site.
