Increasing the capacity of a primary crushing plant and simultaneously reducing the output product top size has obvious benefits in quarrying and recycling.

According to Metso Minerals its new tracked or wheel mounted Nordberg C3054 jaw crusher is designed to do exactly that.

Features include a nominal feed opening of 1375 x 760 mm, a closed side setting range of 40 to 200 mm and a crusher speed of 260 rpm. A “fully equipped” crusher weighs 28.5 tonnes and has a maximum output of 600 tonnes/hour. Other features include a new jaw retention system, thicker cheek plates and an upgraded hydraulic setting adjustment system.
