Investment firm Volaris acquires UBS

Canada-based investment firm Volaris Group, which is the parent company of Wynne Systems, has acquired Unique Business Systems Corporation (UBS), in the US.

UBS is a rental management software company, based in Santa Monica, California, US.

Founded in 1984 by Pradeep Batra and Stan Sugimoto, it provides rental companies around the world with solutions for managing sales, workforce, maintenance and reporting.

UBS will maintain its brand and independence, but will receive support, coaching and best practices from Volaris.

Stan Sugimoto, COO and co-Founder of UBS, is now General Manager and continues to lead the business.

He said, “We are excited about this next step. Now UBS is part of an ecosystem of more than 400 software companies. Joining Volaris Group enables us to grow our business and bring great long-term opportunities for our customers and employees.”

UBS joins Wynne Systems, InTempo and Base Plant in Volaris’ Rental Management System vertical market.
