IPAF affirms core objectives for APEX

29 May 2014

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has announced it will be adopting a ‘back to basics’ approach at the APEX trade show, taking place June 24 to 26 at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

IPAF will use the show to underline its key objectives, as outlined at the association’s recent annual general meeting. These are:

  • To encourage the highest standards of safety and good trading by members
  • To encourage technical efficiency in the industry by cooperation in the establishment of standards

“IPAF’s members co-operate to protect the safety of people in the access industry,” said IPAF CEO Tim Whiteman. “By re-adopting the founding principles, IPAF members make very clear what IPAF stands for and what it sets out to do and deliver. I call on anybody attending or visiting APEX who is not an IPAF member to sign up during the show – be part of the movement to keep our industry safe!”
