The Address Hotel in Dubai Marina will host the IPAF Middle East Convention in January.

The very first IPAF Middle East Convention will be held on 25 and 26 January 2015 at the Address Hotel Dubai Marina in Dubai, UAE.

Confirmed speakers include Dr Ali Salem, UAE Ministry of Labour Director; Mathew Cox, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) Middle East Chairman; and Tim Whiteman, IPAF CEO.

The event starts with a networking reception on the evening of 25 January. The conference runs from 9:00 to 16:00 on 26 January.

“The UAE construction sector is growing at a fast pace and so is the use of powered access equipment,” said Jason Woods, IPAF’s representative in the UAE. “Along with that, there is increased interest in finding much safer and economical ways to work at height and this brings with it challenges for safe operation of equipment. IPAF’s first Middle East Convention aims to address the growing interest and needs of this region.”

The early bird registration fee ends 23 December 2014. Book your place now at www.ipaf.org/meconvention
