Access and safety experts from Australia, Canada, Spain and the UK will speak at the IPAF Summit being held on 17 March 2016 in Madrid, Spain.

The IPAF Summit conference is followed by the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) dinner and awards ceremony. (See below for details about entering the awards).

Confirmed speakers so far for the IPAF Summit include:

  • Brad Boehler, president of Skyjack
  • Jeremy Fish, managing director of Nationwide Platforms
  • Tony Smith, senior investigator at the regulatory audit and investigation unit of Australia’s New South Wales (NSW) Department of Industry
  • Pedro Torres, COO of Riwal

“The IPAF Summit is a great opportunity for anybody interested in the powered access industry to update their knowledge of the business,” said IPAF CEO Tim Whiteman.

The IPAF Summit conference will be held in English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish. Attendance is free and those interested should register in advance at www.iapa-summit.info

The eighth International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) 2016 are now open for entries.

Jointly organised by KHL’s Access International and the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), the IAPAs celebrate best practice and excellence in the powered access industry, attracting audiences of around 450 each year.

The prestigious ceremony will be held on the evening of 17 March 2016, at the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding, in Madrid, Spain. The IPAF Summit takes place during the day at the same location.

There are 13 award categories to choose from, ranging from new products and innovations to safety and training.

The deadline for entries is Thursday, 17 December 2015.
