Speedy Hire is to split its Speedy Power division into three business units for power, pumps and compressors. Each will have its own divisional director and sales force, within a new Speedy 'Power Division'. Andy Carter (left), managing director of Speedy Power, says the new structure will make it easier for each division to target customers in non-core markets; “The construction industry has always been our main focus, where we have the majority of our customers. Now that we have the specialist knowledge on each product range we can expand in to other industries. – These other industries will include the events, utilities, offshore, industrial and manufacturing sectors.
