Customer demand has led IRock to add a new tracked jaw crusher, the 50 tonne TJ-3046, to its product line-up. According to the company, the TJ-3046 is a high performance primary jaw plant that is designed for medium-scale operators in the quarrying, demolition, recycling and mining applications.

The new unit features a 9.9 cubic metre (351 fcubic feet) feeder and includes a grizzly pre-screening grid, with the feeder drive featuring a load control system to ensure continuous, uninterrupted crushing. Power comes from a Cat C-9 ACERT Tier 3/Stage IIIA diesel developing 261 kW (350 hp) and the machine has a production throughput of up to 400 tonnes per hour.

The TJ-3046’s high swing jaw generates an aggressive crushing action and accelerates movement of material into the crushing chamber. The 1.2 m (3.9 ft) discharge conveyor can stockpile up to 3.5 m (11.6 ft), with a dirt conveyor a standard feature.
