Chinese rental company Maclift has taken delivery of two new spider lifts from Italian manufacturer Easy Lift.

Operating out of both Shanghai and Beijing, Maclift sells and rents access machines to the production, mining, agricultural and construction sectors.

Its new RA26 tracked machines were recently delivered to its rental division, which has an equipment fleet comprising over 100 units, including self-propelled units, scissors, forklifts, telehandlers and mini cranes.

The new spider lifts are the first of a four-unit deal, that will see Easy Lift supply two of the RA24 spider lift model to Maclift in April of this year.

Maclift’s new Easy Lift RA26 spiders feature a 230kg-basket and a double telescopic boom that offers a working height of 26m and an outreach of 14.5m. Both machines are fitted with a diesel engine and an electric motor.

They are also equipped with self-levelling outriggers, non-marking tyres for indoor applications and feature the manufacturer’s Easycom remote diagnostic system.

According to the manufacturer, the system allows fleet managers and equipment owners monitor the machines in real time and to speed up “the resolution of any problems, allowing a specialized technician to connect to the machine and check its status in real time”.
