On Saturday 23 February Jan Sarens, who worked for international heavy lift and transport company Sarens Group in Mexico, was shot dead in Acapulco.

Belgium-based Sarens Group said its operation in Mexico included around 50 cranes and 200 staff. Sarens leaves three children and a grandchild.
