JLG Industries in Australia has developed a one-person, battery powered mast lift with a maximum working height of 4.4 m. The lift is being distributed initially in Australia by JLG LiftPod, a new division dedicated to marketing the LiftPod. JLG said the LiftPod FS80 is an “affordable one-person lift that that fills the gap between ladders and larger aerial work platforms for one-person lift applications.” It weighs 70 kg, has a 600 mm by 500 mm platform with 150 kg carrying capacity, and comprises three components: the base, mast and platform. Each component weighs 29 kg or less.
