JLG promotes Marcio Cardoso in South America

JLG Industries has promoted Marcio Cardoso to the position of vice president of sales and aftermarket, South America. He was previously director of sales and market development for South America.

Mr Cardoso will be responsible for leading JLG’s sales, parts and aftermarket services in South America, reporting to Tim Morris, who is JLG’s senior vice president sales, market development and customer support – Americas.

He has 11 years experience in the sale and rental of equipment, including aerial work platforms, compact construction vehicles and cranes. Before joining JLG Mr Cardoso was regional sales manager in South America for Terex Latin America Equip. de Construcao Pesada Ltda.

Tim Morris said; “This move unifies sales and aftermarket organisations in South America and allows us to strategically align our focus on the customer, tapping into Marcio’s proven ability to build strong customer relationships and his thorough knowledge of the international market”.

Mr Cardoso has a mechanical engineering degree from Escola de Engenharia Maua in Sao Caetano do Sul, Brazil.
