JLG has sold its 1000th Toucan 10E vertical mast lift since its introduction in 2009.

The Toucan 10E is an electrically powered mast-style boom lift with a 10m working height it was unveiled at the APEX show in Maastricht, The Netherlands in 2008 and is designed to increase productivity and be easy to maintain and use.

Robert Monteban, director of marketing EAME said, "When we launched the Toucan 10E three years ago, we implemented extensive customer feedback and really engineered the product with the user in mind. The JLG Toucan range is renowned for its performance, but through customer research we received a number of recommendations which guided development of the new Toucan 10E. The fact that since then over a thousand models have been produced and sold is clear evidence of its success."

In 2010 JLG added the Toucan 8E to the electrically-driven Toucan series like the 10m working height model the 8m Toucan 8E has a 3.1m outreach over obstacles and a 345deg turntable to put more work areas within reach. The jib that connects the platform to the mast provides a vertical movement, giving the Toucan series its up-and-over capabilities.

The JLG Toucan Series is developed and produced in the JLG's facility in Tonneins, France.
