Rental company Kennards Hire has opened a new depot in Karratha, Western Australia, through a merger with local company Lion Hire.

Kennards said the staff and previous owners of Lion Hire were joining the Kennards team, and the new depot would offer an expanded inventory of tools and rental equipment.

In addition to growing its network, Kennards Hire has also recently launched a new eCommerce website where customers can browse, order and pay online.

It said this service was available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It added that, due to the size and remoteness of Karratha, the new website would be a beneficial addition to the services Kennards provides.
