Offshore crane manufacturer Kenz Cranes' parent company Kenz Figee in the Netherlands has been acquired by MeeMaken BV.

It is the latest acquisition in the crane industry for Netherlands-based MeeMaken, owned by former Mammoet CEO Roderik van Seumeren and Natasja Sesink. Meemaken’s portfolio is concentrated on service companies to the offshore energy business.

The names Kenz Figee Group and the activities of the Kenz Cranes and Kenz Crane Services business units will be retained.

The acquisition will bring further synergy for MeeMaken which owns Selmers, Euro-Rigging, Alltec Lifting Systems, Be One Development and LiftWerx. Robert de Rijcke, Kenz Figee Group commercial director, said, “We believe that MeeMaken BV can lift us to the next professional level.”
