02 October 2014

Kiloutou has acquired Dariche Location, a French rental company located in Chatillon-en-Michaille Ain, close to Geneva and the Swiss border. It has a single depot and rents mainly large construction equipment such as excavators, wheeled loaders and dump trucks.

The acquisition extends Kiloutou’s coverage in the area between Annecy and Oyonnax, where it has no current operations. The price of the acquisition has not been disclosed.

Xavier of Boÿs, CEO of Kiloutou, welcomed the staff of Dariche and said; "This new acquisition confirms the full implementation of our strategy of being a multi-specialist, and illustrates one of the pillars of this strategy, which is proximity.

“It will allow us to better serve existing Kiloutou customers in this equipment sector and offer the customers of Dariche Location the entire range of services of our group. It also reflects our ability to continue our development in a business environment that is complex."

Karim Dariche, president of Dariche Rental, said he welcomed the deal; “It will enable the company to continue to grow and strengthen its local presence by making available resources and additional resources. I personally believe in this project and I have decided to join the Kiloutou Group to participate in this new adventure. "

This is the latest of a series of recent acquisitions by Kiloutou. In April it bought Alain Location and in July it acquired Nacelle 42, both in France. Last May it also acquired the Polish rental company EWPA.
