Kiloutou acquisition trail continues

08 July 2014

Expansive French rental company Kiloutou has continued its acquisition trail with a deal to purchase Nacelle 42 – a Saint-Etienne, France-based rental company.

Nacelle 42 was founded in 2001 and operates from one branch led by five employees. It has a fleet of telescopic handlers and access-related equipment.

Kiloutou said the acquisition allowed it to strengthen its presence in Saint-Etienne, offering a wider range of machines for all types of work at height.

At a national level, the company said the deal continued its strategy of growth by acquisitions and organically.

Indeed, the Nacelle 42 deal is the latest in a string of acquisitions made by Kiloutou.

At the end of May, for instance, the company purchased EWPA Majster, a leading equipment rental company in Poland, while April saw it acquire Alain Location, a general and heavy construction equipment rental company with two branches in Angers, north western France. It also completed several other deals in 2013.

With 2013 revenues of €471 million, Kiloutou was ranked fifth in this year’s ERN50 ranking of the 50 largest rental companies in Europe. It ranked 15th overall in the IRN100 ranking of the top 100 rental companies in the world.
