Heavy transport and crane service provider Knaack-Krane, based in Hamburg, Germany, has added a Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 wheeled mobile telescopic crane to its fleet.

The 750 tonne capacity crane has a nine-axle carrier and it can travel on public roads, complete with telescopic boom, at an axle load of 12 tonnes, the manufacturer said.

"Our brand new 750-tonne mobile crane from Liebherr will enable us to enter into a completely new performance range", said a spokesperson from Knaack-Krane.

On joining the Knaack-Kranes fleet the crane was put to work assembling wind turbines at Stößen-Teuchern wind farm near Leipzig. In addition to wind farm work the new crane will be used for a range of tasks, including moving and assembling large prefabricated components in the construction industry.
