In Singaore Koh Brothers Building & Civil Engineering Contractors is using a Sennebogen 683 HD telescopic crawler crane to help construct a canal system.

The project consists of an underground canal system that is being expanded 3.2 km between Bukit Timah Road and the Holland Green to help compensate for heavy rainwater.

The crawler was fitted with a PTC 30 HFV vibratory hammer to drive metre-long sheet piles to a depth of 15 m into the ground, a company spokesperson said.

The work is part of a three year project and is expected to cost around US$99.8 million.
