Kramo gripper jacks

• Lift by pushing, in compression.

• For verticallifting.

• Lifting beams, jacks, and power packs are installed at ground level.

• The jacking system can be tested at ground level without the mast being built to full height.

• Can start lifting without masts built to final height, adding sections later.

• Lighter masts required because load is transmitted down the steel square bar.

• In event of a jack failing, it is easy to introduce another one.

• Pressure transducers in equalising cylinders indicate load on each jack.
