Largest order from Africa for Tii

South African road transport, material handling, warehousing and logistics services provider, Eskom Rotek Industries, has ordered 128 Scheuerle Kamag K25 H modular platform trailers from manufacturer Tii Group. According to the company, this is the largest order for these platform trailers it has ever received from the African continent.

Commenting on the new equipment oreder, Sitsabo Kuhlase, Eskom Rotek Industries general manager, logistics services, said, “Our new modular transporters will enable us to move abnormal loads for mega projects and equipment that exceeds the prescribed dimensions and mass permissible on South African roads in a faster, safer and easier manner.”

According to Tii Group, the Scheuerle Kamag K25 H modular platform can be used as a trailer, semi-trailer or self-propelled transporter, which makes it particularly suitable for Eskom Rotek Industries which needs to move electricity generation, transmission, distribution and construction equipment to and from sites.
