Laso acquires French transport company

Laso, through its subsidiary Laso France, has acquired French transport company STDR-TEDL.

This acquisition is part of Laso’s international expansion project

Founded in 1984, STDR-TEDL is headquartered in St. Étienne, France, and has an annual turnover of €5 million. The acquisition is to place Portugal-headquartered Laso in closer proximity to its customers in France and use the technical know-how, experience and support services of STDR-TEDL staff, the company said.

This acquisition is part of Laso’s international expansion project which began in 2009.

With eight branches in Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, France, Slovenia, Mozambique and Morocco, Laso employs a workforce of 1,100 and has more than 2,000 pieces of equipment.
