Lawson scoops up two Wiltshire Business Awards

19 May 2011

UK contractor Lawson Group has been recognised by the Wiltshire Business Awards by being announced winner in two categories, the Environmental Award and the top category, the Wiltshire Business of the Year Award for Outstanding Excellence 2011.

According to the judges, it was Lawson's detailed Site Waste Management Plans, dedication to recycling, low emissions machinery and advanced site monitoring that set a great example of environmentally considerate working practices.

The Business of the Year award was given for the best overall performance of a company, with judges taking into consideration the way that Lawson Group had grown, expanding fleet, staff and service offerings to ensure its ongoing success.

Martin Wilson, founder and Director of Lawson Group, said "It is a huge honour to receive these awards, in particular the Wiltshire Business of the Year Award for Outstanding Excellence. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team, from those working on site to those involved in the awards process. We are very proud of the company and our successes over the past 20 years and are delighted to receive not one but two fantastic awards".
