Foundation experts from Leduc TP put a new Sennebogen 653 to work on sheet pile installation on a site with limited space in France.

On site in a southern suburb of Paris, the 50 tonne capacity telescopic boom crawler crane is working next to buildings, between sidewalk and pavement. The crane is doing sheet piling works building an underground pit to place containers for waste and garbage collection.

In addition to lifting the steel elements into position, the crane also carries a hammer on the hook. The sheet piles are driven deep into the ground with the vibratory hammer. It strengthens the structure and surrounding buildings.

Etienne Brenckmann, Leduc TP managing director, said, “Thanks to the robust design and strong full-power boom of the Sennebogen telescopic cranes, our foundation projects can be realised in a confined space and the machine can be manoeuvred safely under load.”
