Liebherr delivers 75,000th excavator

Manufacturing giant Liebherr has celebrated the delivery of its 75,000^th excavator, a mere 63 years after producing its first machine.

The A 918 Compact Litronic wheeled excavator rolled off the production line at Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH, the founding plant of the Liebherr Group.

The excavator received a special multi-coloured paint job, designed by renowned graffiti artist Claudia Walde, aka MadC.

The 1,700 workers at the plant took time out to celebrate the launch of the new machine, which, according to the company, will now take its place among the fleet of Liebherr Rental Services.
