Liebherr G-374

06 May 2008

The stand will be 50000 sq ft (4600 m2), which is more than double the size of the booth at the 2002 event. Of the 25 exhibits four are mobile cranes, three are towers, and two are crawlers. The mobiles on show are: the LTC 1055-3.1 Compact; the LTM 1070-4.1 and LTM 1095-5.1 all terrains; and the LTM 1220-5.1 wheeled mobile. The crawlers are the HS 895 HD and the LR 1130.

Flagship of the Liebherr display is the largest EC-H tower crane in the range; the 550 EC-H 20 Litronic. Hook height is 204 ft (62 m) and working radius is 268 ft (81.5 m). Lifting capacity is 8820 lb (4 tonnes) at the jib end and its maximum load is 40090 lb (20 tonnes).

The new 115 US ton (95 tonne) capacity LTM 1095-5.1 five-axle mobile crane, which is making its debut, has what Liebherr claims is the longest telescopic boom of its class at 190 ft (58 m). A hook height of 269 ft (82 m) and a lifting radius of 203 ft (62 m) are possible using the 23 ft (7 m) telescopic boom extension and the 62 ft (9 m) double swing-away jib.

From the HS crawler crane range visitors can see the 200 tonne capacity HS 895 HD. It has 35 tonne free-fall winches and can be fitted with casing oscillators for boring diameters of up to 3300 mm
