Around 3,000 people from all over the world were expected over two days at the Liebherr-Werk Ehingen factory in Germany on 13 and 14 June.

This was the fifth Customer Open Days event since 1999. All 19 LTM series wheeled mobile telescopic crane models were on show.

Activities included a tour of what Liebherr describes as the world's largest production facility for all terrain mobile cranes. The site now covers around 840,000 square metres, 220,000 of which is buildings. Almost 2,800 people are employed there.
