Bangalore-based construction company, Suvilas Properties & Construction, used a Liebherr 85 EC-Bi tower crane on the development of the Suvilas Royal Guardenia in India.

The 85 EC-Bi lifted steelwork and concrete. The Suvilas Royal Guardenia is a 10-storey residential tower. It covers more than 6,000 square metres of floor space on a 2.05 acre site in Bangalore.

The building is being built using concrete slabs with a 130 mm thickness and 3 metre floor height, a company spokesperson said.

K R Shivakumar, project manager, said, “With experience of Liebherr crane reliability on previous projects, l had no hesitation in recommending the 85 EC-Bi for this project.”

Once complete the development will have 72 apartments, a number of club houses, swimming pools and gymnasiums.
