Lift & Move USA confirms three 2018 events

The Lift & Move USA programme – which promotes careers in the crane, rigging and specialized transport industry – will host three events in 2018 with a fourth SC&RA member-hosted event to be determined. The three confirmed events are:

25-29 June

Louisville, Kentucky. National Leadership & Skills Conference, SkillsUSA. Lift & Move USA will take a booth at SkillsUSA’s annual conference, which is attended by more than 10,000 students and teachers.

11 October

Portland, Oregon. Hosted by NessCampbell.

14 December

Phoenix, Arizona. Hosted by Southwest Industrial Rigging.

Lift & Move USA is still aiming to organise a third hosted event during the year in addition to those being held by NessCampbell and Southwest Industrial Rigging.

The programme is organised by SC&RA, KHL Group, NCCCO and the SC&R Foundation. It creates half-day careers promotion events for high school and college students and veterans, hosted by SC&RA members. Since 2015 eight events have been held with more than 2,000 students attending.
