Nationwide Platforms has provided services to street lighting specialist Imtech Traffic & Infra UK.

The UK rental giant supplied equipment from its Specialist Vehicles fleet to provide installation and maintenance across traffic and transport infrastructure applications.

It included a range of new van mounted platforms in the 9.5 to 17 m working height range with additional features including reversing cameras, highway ‘chapter 8’ markings, and numerous safety interlock features. Van mounted platforms provided on long term rental were also branded according to Imtech’s own requirements.

Nationwide also provides a replacement vehicle in the event of breakdown or when vehicle servicing or Thorough Examinations are required. Adrian Foster, service manager – Urban, Imtech Traffic & Infra UK, said, “The challenges of working on the public highways and on transport infrastructure projects mean we need our suppliers to be responsive, adaptable and understanding of our every need.”

This year Nationwide Platforms is to invest more than UK£3 million in its market Specialist Vehicles fleet which comprises more than 500 units across 26 local depots.
